The brief was to prepare proposals for the remodelling and extensions to a 1930's detached house of character. The extensions detailed to match those of the existing property.

In addition, the requirements of the brief were to relocate the garage and access from the main road frontage to the adjacent side street. This enabled the opportunity to design a contemporary studio building, comprising of a ground floor detached garage, workshop and store, with first floor accommodation over as a live/work flexible space within the garden.
